In March, Masterclass Kitchens were the kitchen sponsors for the Good Homes’ kitchen set for The Ideal Home Show 2019 in Olympia, London. The show ran from the 22nd March until the 7th April and was attended by over a quarter of a million people!
This year, the overall theme for the Ideal Home show was ‘Best of British’. So, with this in mind, a theme was chosen for the Good Homes’ room sets; The Royal Family. The kitchen-diner, which we contributed to, was designed along this theme for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. It gave a glamourous nod to Meghan’s Hollywood lifestyle and encompassed bold colours, curvaceous shapes and luxurious materials.
The brief was to create a kitchen-diner that oozed style and celebrate the colour of the moment, millennial pink and living coral. The cabinets were Sutton, from our modern collection and finished in our beautiful Autumn Blush colour. The cabinet handles sat on the very top of the doors and provided an incredibly elegant look, which gave the illusion of a sleek handleless look that offered a minimalistic and fuss-free finish.
The kitchen design showcased our open shelving and open wine rack in Tuscan Walnut, with the central focal point of the kitchen being our beautiful and striking island.
“We were absolutely thrilled when Good Homes approached us to become part of the Ideal Home Show, being one of the biggest lifestyle and interior shows it’s a great platform for our brand. It’s especially fun when we’re asked to design something a little different and really showcase our bold and beautiful colours.”
