Fortunately for you, our knowledgeable design partners always know what’s in vogue and what will last the test of time.
Q: How do you build a kitchen island?
Our kitchen islands may look simple but lots of experience and expertise has gone into making them appear that way. Hence, we wouldn’t recommend try to build one yourself without professional guidance. After all, we adhere to all sorts of rules and regulations: the working triangle; safety regulations; electronic installations (if applicable), and more! What you see isn’t simply a kitchen island; it’s the tip of a knowledge iceberg we’ve cultivated over decades.
Q: How big is a kitchen island?
Technically, an island can be any size you want. At Masterclass, we tailor our kitchen island dimensions to fit each client’s taste and lifestyle needs, as well as the availability of floorspace in their kitchen. Depending on your space, your kitchen island could be slimline or the vast sort of workspace you’d see on a TV cooking show. Q: Are kitchen islands taller than counters?
There is no industry standard kitchen island height. However, kitchens often look and work best when your island worktop matches the counter height of the base units fixed to your walls. Hence, in most cases kitchen islands aren’t taller or shorter than counters; they’re the same height.
