Published on 05 May 2023

What has PVC trousers, pyrotechnics and a series of jokes that don’t quite land? That’s right – the Masterclass blog-writing process! Just kidding, it’s Eurovision…

(Honestly, Dave’s lying about that PVC gear in the marketing office. It’s not ours.)

Anyway… Eurovision 2024 is on the horizon, and this year, with Olly Alexander as the UK’s entry, you’re going have a lot of fun. Why? Because you’ll finally be prepared as a viewing party host.

Picture the scene: printed Eurovision score cards, a list of Eurovision cocktail ideas and a stylish kitchen dresser to help you shine. Preparing the ultimate viewing party can be a slog. Fortunately for you, today’s article does all the heavy lifting. So, let the Eurovision Song Contest prep begin!

Five abstract cocktails including a Swedish Mule, Sangria and Pimm’s

A Home Bar Unit

What’s the first port-of-call for lavish viewing parties? Cocktails. We’ll get onto Eurovision-themed cocktail recipes in a bit. For now, though, it’s worth noting how the right furniture can help you achieve the convenience, style and choice of a commercial bar in your home.

The brand-new Masterclass Bar Dresser, for example, is available in hundreds of colours, styles and water-resistant finishes. You can fit this compact kitchen dresser atop a regular kitchen wall cabinet.

Altogether, it has space-saving bi-fold doors, a wine glass rack and enough bottle space to rival a tall drinks cabinet. More than a convenient place to store drinks, it’s a feature that inspires conversation.

Eurovision-Themed Cocktails

Every Eurovision country has a national cocktail. Nobody, however, has the bandwidth to prepare 20+ gourmet drinks. So, save yourself the stress and cover the a handful of prominent countries. Here are a few of our stand-out recipes…

The Cosmorand (Switzerland)

Switzerland is fantastic for many reasons: their Eurovision entry, the chocolate, Federer – not to mention, the flag is a big plus. Besides that, though, there’s The Cosmorand. Invented by Swiss brandy makers, this drink features apricot brandy infused with apricot juice from Luizet trees found in the Swiss Alps.
